Cookie policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026. This is a translation: in case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones PatchRadar uses, what they are for and how you can choose, in line with the Italian data protection authority's Guidelines of 10 June 2021.
1. Technical cookies (always active)
They are needed for the site to work securely and do not require consent.
- Cloudflare (
__cf_bm,cf_clearance): tell real visitors apart from automated bots. Duration: from 30 minutes to 1 year. - Cookie choices (
FCCDCF,FCNEC): remember what you chose in the banner, so we don't ask again on every page. Duration: up to 13 months.
2. Statistics (without cookies)
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and records no data that could identify you.
3. Advertising (only with your consent)
PatchRadar is free and funded by ads from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited) and Google's certified advertising partners. Only if you consent may they use cookies (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE, NID) and device identifiers to:
- show you personalised ads based on your interests;
- measure how many times an ad is seen or clicked;
- limit repetition of the same ads and prevent fraud.
Duration: usually from a few months to 13 months, according to each provider's policies. If you refuse, the site works just the same: you may see non-personalised ads or no ads at all.
How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites · Manage Google's personalised ads: adssettings.google.com.
4. How you choose and change your mind
- On your first visit a banner asks for your consent: you can accept, refuse just as easily, or choose per purpose and per provider. Closing the banner counts as refusing.
- We won't ask for consent again for 6 months, unless the cookies we use change.
- You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. Data controller
