About and sources
PatchRadar helps IT technicians, small businesses and power users find out quickly which vulnerabilities affect their devices and what to do.
Where the data comes from
- CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities: the US cybersecurity agency's catalog of actively exploited vulnerabilities.
- Fortinet PSIRT and Cisco PSIRT: the vendors' official advisories.
- NVD (National Vulnerability Database): CVSS severity scores and affected versions.
How the pages are written
Sources are checked several times a day. The English pages quote the official advisory text (vendor or CISA) and add our data: severity, whether the flaw is exploited, affected and fixed versions. The Italian edition also has a plain-language summary written with the help of AI. Before touching a production system, always check versions and instructions in the vendor's advisory.
